Midweek Message – 7/19/17

Last Sunday, we began learning about the sacraments – signs of God’s gracious love and our grateful response – with a focus on baptism: God’s promise of life for all. We learned that, in his baptism, Jesus Christ fully entered into the human experience. In our baptism, we are fully incorporated into the life of Jesus Christ.

This Sunday, we’ll explore how we are not only united in the life of Christ, but that we are also united in his dying and rising (Romans 6:1-11). Our worship band will also be playing on Sunday. You won’t want to miss it!

Next Tuesday, July 25th, 2-7pm, Holmes Camp will be hosting a meeting of Hudson River Presbytery – and the worship will be led by friends from First Presbyterian Church of Beacon! This is a

great chance for folks of all ages to enjoy the camp and learn more about the ministries of our presbytery. Worship starts at 2pm, followed by workshops, presbytery business, and dinner at 6pm. Free camp programming for children & youth runs from 2-6pm. After dinner, the waterfront will be open for swimming and boating of all ages. We hope you’ll join us there!
