Now is the time to come together…

…as a church and as a community.  We hope you’ll be with us to let your light shine!

We hope you’ll let your light shine as we gather for a congregational meeting after worship this Sunday, October 28th for a time of food, fun and business.  Our business will include electing officers for next year – we’ve got some great ones lined up – and to kick off our fall stewardship campaign.  Your vision and your gifts are crucial for the ministry of FPC!

We also hope you’ll let your light shine as we gather as a community in response to the recent anit-Semitic flyering on our church, in other parts of Dutchess County, and around the country. You are invited to join people of all faiths and good conscience in fasting from sunup on Thursday, November 1, and then come together as One Beacon at Salem Tabernacle Church (7 Delavan Avenue, Beacon) from 6:00 to 9:00 PM for an evening of breaking bread and singing together.  *Limited on-site child care is available; please email  by noon on Tuesday, October 30 to register your child

But, before either of these opportunities, we hope you’ll let your light shine in worship this Sunday.  We’ll wrap up our series on the Lord’s Prayer with the promise of God’s kingdom, power, and glory. If you want to get caught up, you can listen to the last, two sermons on forgiveness (10/14) and temptation & evil (10/21).

In Christ,

Pastor Ben
