If you find yourself needing a little extra light this time of year, you’re invited to our Blue Christmas service this Friday, Dec 21 at 7pm in the Sanctuary. It’s the winter solstice, the longest night. We will make space to acknowledge our pain and grief, and remember the coming of the light.
At our worship this Sunday morning, you’ll hear about the encouragement Mary (pregnant with Jesus) found when she travelled to her cousin, Elizabeth (pregnant with John the baptist). This meeting – as found in Luke 1:39-56 – inspired one of the most empowering verses in scripture. Come Sunday to learn more.
Anticipating the light,
PS – For those of you who missed the delightful Christmas Pageant on Sunday, here’s a video of the FPC’s presentation of The Mysterious Animal. It was wonderful!
